what would you do

This show comes on  abc  Tuesday and Friday nights
I gotta hand it to What would  you do    for  useing  TV to  teach  people how to be good citizens  which includes   how to treat people with different ablities.   Last night's show  was no exception, on that episode it   showed two  people with disablties ( a little person and a lady in the wheelchair) and  people 's  reactions to them in the suppermakert.     Both of those clips are worth the watch;however, I want to take a look at  the one of the person in a wheelchair

People with disabilities are  not  hopeless  and do not need help all the time.  As I said  earlier people with Disabilities  do  become  adults  and   the public  has to be reminded  of that.  Recently  one of the basketball players  mom(  I play  on the special olympics team)   handled  my money for me  even though I  am able to  handle  my own money.  In that case I did not mind   because  I knew the lady and  i know she meant  no  harm   i  told  her after the fact.   That is why you need to ask people with disablties for help  before you help because  they might  be able to do it themsleves

  please comment before you leave

Laughter is always the best medicence

the  story:  In  speech  one day  my speech teacher  Ms.F   in a effort to  see that  I am  not the only one who speaks   badly    told me about a deaf  lady who  was a  stand  up comic.  We  looked on  youtube   heard  her speek  the   bell  rang  and  I had   Mr.T    next period  so  i    rushed  to his classroom   and forgot about  it

August  2010: I am   web sufeing on  youtube and frond this  and  it  hit me that this  was the same  lady  Ms.F had  told  me about. I watched  it and all  I can say  is that her experince   is  so similar to  mine. My favorite  part  is     about the   red ballon and Mike. This video will make  you cry  laugh    and  be in awe.  Enjoy it my  friends

Table for 12

I know everyone heard of John and Kate plus 8 ether  from tabloids or  television and with that  ending    there is nothing  worth  watching  on TLC about a family     who has a lot of kids  age 13 and younger .. or  is there.

Meet The  Hayes   Betty and  Eric who have  ten kids  and  although they do not go  out that often, when they do they  get  a table for 12,  The  Hayes have   two set of twins and sextuplets  one of them  has  severe cerebral   palsy. If you are wondering why that sounds  familiar I have CP  as well.   You can  learn  more about the  hayes  by   watching this  clip  below.

Old friend , orange soda, spare, this is the life

Old friends. So I went to Special Olympics bowling today for the first time this season and guess what I saw LM . LM has been going every week unlike me for the first time since I started bowling. I got to bowel on his lane and had fun Bowling and messing around. It payed off because I got 90 pic above is the score board and this happens in the last frame.

The last game well I did not do so well although I did have orange soda. I also got LM some doctor pepper)Towards the end I got to catch up with an old friend from church B ball. She kinda surprised me but once she told me who she was I hugged her and my dad talked to her parents.

what happends if people with disablities are given a chancee

all three of these young men need to start a foundation because not all disabled athletes are not as lucky. These coaches took a chance and that means a lot. I hope this trend can spreed across the world this is inclusion at it finest

A great song with even better pictures

this relates to the post below. My favorite pic is the transition from MLK to Obama. We watched a movie not to long a go about Steven harking. He can only talk with a computer but he is so smart. He is a perfect example of do not judge a book by it's cover.
