Spring Games

  Spring has sprung

So  Saturday was the spring games. I had  fun. I  participated in track and field.  I ran the 100  and  4 by 100  and    the turbo   jave, a plastic javelin.   I was really nervous about running  my first race(  the 100 meter dash)  because I fell the year before but I did not  fall and got sliver.  In the four by 100   I  was able to pass up another  runner as  anchor for  second place. In  jav,  I got first because no one was in my division. Now  we just have to see if I  get to go to summer games.  It would be  a nice  thing to do in the summer.  If I do not get to go as an athlete this year I might go to watch since   I have never been to summer games.

Why I am supporting the Patriots

he grew up in San Mateo CA and went to the same church that I went to for CCD and basketball. I played on a inclusive basketball team there and now a little guy with DS plays there because I recommend it to them when he played soccer on our county special olympics team

Softball Sunday

My  first ever SO event 2005
Today  was softball for me.  Our  team did well  we got third  place  meaning we  won   one and lost one.

On the way back to my area  I heard about the violence  at the     49ers  game.  For those outside California     there   had been an  similar attack on the fans at a  Giants   Dodgers  game  earlier this year.      These  two attacks  make  me reflect on something.   The  world should be more like  a special Olympics competition.    take today  for example.   During the  game we are all   want   to win.     Athletes  are   happy  when    their  team  wins and  get sad when their  teams  lose.   The major difference  is  what happened  off the  field.     People  have  friends  on the  opposing  team ( yes  some  of this  results  from  athletes  move  to  cities)  but  this isn't  always  the  case   during  lunch  time   a  athlete    came  around  to  ask  us  if we  wanted lickerish.  This  athlete    was  not  our  team  mate   but it  did not matter    the  person   had lickerish  and  offered  to share it.  Couldn't the  world be  more like  that     Have    a healthy  competition where everyone  tries  his or her  best  but   at  the end of the day  watch out    for each other  because   it is  just a game.   Please  remember this    the  next time you are  watching  professional sports

basketball 2010 part two

From the time I was little I always wanted to knoww what it felt like to be on a school team for my school. That has not happend since sizth grade but flash forad to last year. Mr C bailed on the soccer team ( but we are still great friends ). I dicieded I would bite the bullet and ask coach G if I could help out. I had perepared my slef by saying there was a 99% percent chabce the coach would say no and a ONE PERCENT CHANCE THAT SHEE WOULD say yes. Ms G said yes and I became a ball kid for the varsity basketball team. I had to be in charge of the balls at the home games and got to sit on the bench and shake hands after the game. I got to be a manger on the basketball team and although I never suited up to play in the game I was apart of the team.

Special Olympics 2010
With every year comes improvement from the previous year that is what sports are all about.
This year basketball was extremely fun and social too for me because I made a new friend lets call him E I. He happens to have Alpert syndromee He is so smart and as 8th grader . He and i have a lot in common (love v games , like sports, are in inclusive education the list goes on and on and it is nice to have someone to hang out with before and after practice. We have played at my house and went to see Avatar and how to train your Dragon. I am so glad to have a friend especially considering DD and her knack for being a friendship thef.

Old friend , orange soda, spare, this is the life

Old friends. So I went to Special Olympics bowling today for the first time this season and guess what I saw LM . LM has been going every week unlike me for the first time since I started bowling. I got to bowel on his lane and had fun Bowling and messing around. It payed off because I got 90 pic above is the score board and this happens in the last frame.

The last game well I did not do so well although I did have orange soda. I also got LM some doctor pepper)Towards the end I got to catch up with an old friend from church B ball. She kinda surprised me but once she told me who she was I hugged her and my dad talked to her parents.

A coach who premotes inclusion

I am soo lucky that  I have a coach  who truly  believes  that anyone can    play and support there school.    This year  golf had a  a lot of  new comers so I thought I was  history.  GO is  not cutting  anyone but for finical  reasons  he is not going to  take everyone out for  matches  or    practice on the course. Go   has   a  good heart he   knows  about   my changes  but is  willing to do all he    can to  help  me  learn the game that he loves.       A lot of   coaches   have    cut me but  not GO.  I am thinking of writing a poem to him explain how    he  has helped be  belong  but   that will have to  come  latter.

golf is gone gone gone

Friday night my golf team had a end of the year party at nicks pizza. I went to this instead of a Dr appointment as was really glad I went. It turns out one of th golfers knew the people at the pallor and got the space for free. I had so much fun playing video games eating pizza listening to the gals talk after inhaling helium from the balloons (Its really funny) and with help I was able to do it too playing football and surpisesing K a senior who was team captain and will be off in Collage next year. (We will miss you K come back and visit) I had a lot of fun this season and can't wait for next season. Coach G O was really patient. Any coach needs that when teaching me a new sport and I gave him a lot of hugs during the season. He told me that despite the fact I don't have him in pe he will make a point to stay in contact with me and might be a Unified parter for me this summer in SO golf. If I get premisson from the team I might post pics online and might make a montage.
